This was probably the worst RP ever. It showed what a hack Mom was and how stupid the fanbase is to think that one of the dullest roleplays in the history of RP is anything but horrible. Seriously each thread following Kyle and his sidekick gang as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the interesting setting (Which isn't developed at all) the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of conflict, all to make Stands unmagical, to make the action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Mom vetoed the idea of Dad taking over the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody. Just another RP where Dad makes shit up and expect it to works. The IC series might be the inspiration for SM, but it’s certainly the anti-SM series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement, not to mention its lack of subtle and mature themes. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

>B-But it's fun! At least Meme Motel was great!

"No!" Meme Motel is dreadful; the chase is terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time Dad wanted something tense to happen, he wrote Meme Motel suddenly teleporting behind a character and assraping them to death.

I began marking on the back of an envelope every time Dad made one of his villains obliterate a character. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. The villain even jobs later on despite this! Dad's mind is so governed by shonen cliches and an obsession with """fun""" over writing consistency that he has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of IC by the same Eichiiro Oda. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading IC at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read SM and One Piece." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Instant Crush" you are, in fact, trained to read One Piece.

The most interesting part about this review is that you don’t have blank sheets of paper at home, but instead write things on envelopes.

The creators are just going with whatever is trending right now and injecting them into the fights thinking they'll magically make it popular lol like that's how it works but in reality it just creates a shambled mess without any real direction or indication of where it's going
I'm amazed they even managed to make it this far with two chapters that went fucking nowhere like how have they not axed this series yet
